TTGames

We are a game studio called Timeous Tranquility Games (TTGames). On this page we will tell a little bit about ourselves.

Jeremy van Putten (project leader)

My name is Jeremy, I am 17 years old and I live in Almere, the Netherlands. In short, my hobbies are programming, gaming, playing the guitar and I love to listen to rock and specific metal bands and songs. My favorite game I have ever played is either Portal 2 or FarCry 3. As the project leader I try to make sure that everything gets done in time by the team, I make the planning and I am the person to go to if there is a problem. I am also in closest contact with our tutor. Of course I help with other things as well; I do a little programming here and there and I co-write and play the soundtracks. I'm looking forward to see the end result in a couple of weeks.\

Sander Vanheste (Lead Programmer)

I'm Sander, I live in Utrecht and i'm eighteen years old. My hobbies are programming (kind of predectible), playing the piano/singing and writing. Also, I play hockey and tennis (at Olympos Utrecht) a few times a week. I love working on big projects, the thrill of seeing the end product slowly come closer is a big motivation for me. Furthermore, I enjoy playing original games/seeing original movies. So you can't catch me playing Call of Duty or watching Die Hard 5, there's just too much repetition in those, to my taste. As a lead programmer, my main task is to get the core of the codebase implemented, and creating the most fundamental systems that drive the game. I will also create some art and maybe a little music. But another essential task of me is to create subtasks and let other team members handle those tasks (eg, create a bomb-shooting system), and then make sure the newly created systems fit well in the codebase already created. In conclusion, I'm curious to see how the project will develop, and will enjoy working on it.

Rowan Sincic

Hi, I am Rowan Sincic and i am eighteen years old. I am studying GameTechnology at the University of Utrecht. I love to play guitar and I am really fond of games and computer related stuff. My favourite music ranges from Jimmy Hendrix to Mushroomhead, as long as it has a guitar a drum and a vocalist, i’m pretty much set :). My favourite videogame is Rayman 1, its insanely hard (somewhere in in the last lvl your controls are switched for a while, left is right and right is left!) but it was also very athmospheric. There were levels which had certain themes, jungle, music, mountains etc. Everything was very colorfull and the level design never got boring, there was always something new, something interesting in each next level. Also the music was very well done and gameplay was very smooth and rewarding. I hope you know me a little bit better now, cheers!

Deion heijn

My name is deion, i am 18 years old and I live in Haarlem, the Netherlands. My hobbies include gaming, watching anime and american tv-shows. I like all sorts of games except for racing, but my absolute favorite would be Skyrim. As a simple staff member it is my job to do whatever is necessary to further develop the game and my tasks will range from programming to updating our blog. I am very excited to work with the team on our game and can’t wait to see the end result, knowing that everyone is doing their very best to get a great game in the end.

Robbert Keijzer

My name is Robbert 'Flouter' Keijzer. I am 21 years years old and I live in Almere, the Netherlands. Gaming is one of my favourite activities, together with doing various things with my friends, like going out, gaming or simply hanging out. Throughout my life I have played many different games in almost every genre. At this moment I dedicate most of my gaming time to League of Legends, but it's definitely not the only game I play. This year I started studying Game Technology in Utrecht, but it's not my first study though. Last year I was studying Physics and Astronomy, which wasn't quite the appropiate study for me. Even though I never programmed in my life before I started this year and therefore have no experience in programming of any kind, I still hope and think that I will be an usefull addition to the TTGames team. I have no specific role yet, but I am willing to do any task and help where needed. I am eager and hoping to learn thoughout the entire process of creating a complete game. Not only am I interested in the programming section, but also writing a breathtaking storyline, designing magnificent sprites, creating an interesting gameplay, thinking of an effective marketing strategy and everything else which includes making a game draw my full attention. So in general you could call me the 'Allrounder' of TTGames.
